I recognized everyone you wrote about, except myself. In those hard times past, thank you for seeing in me something I was too numb to see in myself. So glad I was a friend to you and you were a friend to me.
I thought that you would be able to identify those to whom I referred. I don’t believe that I ever thanked you adequately for giving me the opportunities that you did. And yes, in the midst of all of the turmoil, it was hard to see things clearly,. as I found out much to my chagrin later.
