“A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history—with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.” ~ Mitch Ratcliffe

I apologize if you saw an earlier version of today’s post. Once again, as I prepared to publish, I had major coding errors, images moved, copy moved into captions, and the video didn’t load . . .

  1. What a great quote! I’ve noticed a couple of oddities on my WP screens lately, but nothing like you describe. And since they’ve coincided with my getting sick, I haven’t been back to them enough to see what else might be going on. I may still be a bit delirious, but considering the recent attacks against WP from outside, I wonder if a little paranoia might be a good thing?

    1. I just don’t know if it’s this particular computer in its last throes before dying or if something is really going on with WP. I hope that it’s not WP as it’s always been so reliable and user-friendly, which is what I love about it. Let me know if you start to see any of the things that I’ve described.

  2. Love that! I am making many mistakes with my computer lately. Actually, since I have been out of the corporate world my typing skills have diminished exponentially.

I have always avoided handguns. And since 1976, tequila as well…

    1. I, too, thought that it was a great quote. I gave up tequila (except for the trip to Mexico) in the 90’s. A day of drinking tequila led to one of the worst migraines of my life.
