It began in 1936, Bloemencorso, the annual parade of flowers in Zundert, Netherlands. This past September saw some of the most spectacular animated towering floats to date. First prize went to “Full Moon,” an animated float depicting a man’s transformation into a werewolf. Pretty amazing stuff for a town with a population of about 20,000 people. Bear in mind these structures are made of flowers!
